As England comes into new restrictions, here in Haringey, numbers of infections are worryingly high, please stay at home and if you need essential items, please stay local and if you can, try and use delivery services.
Under the rules, only essential retailers including Supermarkets, Newsagents, Food Stores can stay open.
Financially, Banks, Building Societies and money transfer services can also stay open.
Non essential retailers must not open or let any members of the public into their premises. They can operate a click and collect service, a repair service or a delivery service.
All hospitality businesses including pubs, restaurants etc. can only provide a take away or delivery service only. This however excludes alcohol.
Other restictions which effect businesses can include less staff working and limits on the number of customers in their premises.
To support and help the businesses, please if you need to visit, wear a face mask at all times, come into the town centre and leave as soon as you have completed what you need to do. Please do NOT hang around the Town Centre, do NOT arrange to meet up with other people and please DO NOT ask any businesses to break the rules as they can receive fines and other restrictions for doing so.
