High Road N22: Essential Highways Drainage Maintenance Works

Dear Businesses and Residents,

We are pleased to inform you that Haringey Council will be carrying essential Highways Drainage

Maintenance Works.

These works will be carried out on High Road N22 between Wood Green Tube Station and Turnpike Lane

Tube Station and this will entail:

• Gully works & including repairs.

We plan to carry out these works over 5 days, including some day and night works to minimise

disruption and start from Monday 19th August 2024.

We will make every effort to keep the disruption to a minimum during the works and there will be no

major excavations after 11pm.

Some bus stops will be closed along High Road N22, however there are

no planned diversions of these bus routes. Please note that TfL buses have been informed about

these necessary maintenance works, and they will follow their usual processes for informing the

public. TfL bus status information can be accessed from https://tfl.gov.uk/bus/status .

The works will be carried out under temporary traffic lights for vehicular traffic, as this will

ensure maximum safety for the public and the operatives.

During the works, if you have any issues, please raise with the operatives onsite, who will inform

the council where necessary.
