Despite the best efforts of The BID and Haringey Council to get Thames Water to repair a burst water main for over a week, the problem was not resolved in time which lead to a large flood on the Turnpike Lane end of the High Road. Many shops have had to close, the road itself is closed to cars, causing traffic and bus diversions until at least Sunday 6th June.
TFL update: Buses serving Wood Green are disrupted due to the closure of High Road during emergency works to fix a burst water main. Routes 29 123 230 are curtailed at Turnpike Lane Bus Station, missing stops north of here. Route 67 is curtailed at West Green Road, missing stops from Turnpike Lane Station to Wood Green Station. Routes 121 184 221 232 329 are curtailed at Wood Green Station, missing stops south of here.
