Spot on Beauty

I visited this parlour for the first time to get my eyebrows threaded. While I waited in the chair, customers who had finished getting their eyebrows done were asked by the beauticians if they wanted to check them. but they trusted the beauticians enough to not check them and were very happy with the results. I was very happy with my results. The staff were very kind and friendly and I will coming back soon. I recommend this parlour to anybody who wants great service for a great price 🙂

My experience at Spot on Beauty was mind blowing!!! The staff over there is so kind and friendly and they always have a smile spread across their face. As I spoke, they listened to me carefully and responded in a polite and gentle tone. My skin is generally sensitive, so I gets cuts very easily. Although they did my eyebrows and upper lips, I didn’t have to handle any pain as they treated my skin gently and with care. On top of that, the price is very reasonable and affordable. Overall, my experience at Spot on Beauty has been excellent, and I have now got the best eyebrow shape ever! I would surely rate this a 10/10 and would like to recommend others to get their eyebrows done.

Absolutely shocking experience at Spot On Beauty today. I went in for eyebrow threading and upper lip and chin hair removal. The beautician suggested waxing the upper lip and chin instead of threading, saying it would be less painful, so I agreed. She then threaded my eyebrows. The entire removal took less than 4 minutes, which already felt rushed. She asked me to check my face in a mirror placed far away near their equipment area where it’s difficult to properly see whether all the hair has actually been removed. I did asked if they had hand mirrors,’’ she said, we are not allowed to provide hand mirror to customers company rules she said!! Clearly this shows they don’t want us to see incomplete face threading. I paid £14 and left. When I got home and checked in a proper mirror, I was shocked to see that many hairs had been left on my eyebrows, chin and upper lip. The job was clearly not finished and I ended up waxing the areas again myself. This felt extremely rushed, careless and unprofessional. Charging customers £14 for a service that is clearly not completed properly is unacceptable. I would strongly advise people to avoid this place unless you want to waste your time and money and still leave with hair left on your face.

Today I visited Spot On Beauty for an eyebrow wax, and it was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. I specifically told the technician that I only wanted a cleanup and to maintain the thickness of my eyebrows. I emphasized that I did NOT want them thinner. Despite my clear instructions, she proceeded to wax off nearly half of my eyebrows. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror. To make matters worse, her attitude was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she offered no apology and instead insisted that I pay for the service. I refused, arguing that she completely disregarded my instructions and ruined my eyebrows. Her response was defensive, and she continued to demand payment, creating an incredibly uncomfortable situation. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the technician’s unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially if you care about the shape and thickness of your eyebrows. Save yourself the frustration and find a more competent and customer-focused establishment.

Two weeks prior to my holiday I tried spot on beauty in wood green where by I encountered two girls in which one started threading my eyebrows. She started talking to her colleague about how I kept moving but swore calling my bad words in my language (gujrati) which was is disgusting. Baring in mind I was so still but my hands slippery so I re pulled my eyebrow which is normal as I’ve had no issue with my normal eyebrow lady. It was outrageous they tone and way she said it made it 10x worst, didn’t deserve any money for her work. To think it’s my own people too is sad. When I confronted her she said sorry but started talking behind my back straight away. Really sad they can’t work professionally.

I have been a loyal customer of Spot on Beauty for over eight years, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing. During my visit for eyebrow and upper lip services, the staff member who attended to me was rude and unprofessional. When I politely pointed out her behavior, she responded by raising her voice and speaking to me in a disrespectful manner, even in front of other customers. I went to approached the manager to address the issue but there were three girls, but instead of listening to my concerns and handling the matter professionally, the staff present defended her behavior and disregarded my feedback. Rather than acknowledging my loyalty as a long-term customer and offering an apology, they dismissed my concerns and continued their work. This was extremely disheartening, especially considering the excellent service I’ve received in the past. Customer service should always be respectful and attentive, but unfortunately, this recent experience left me feeling unheard and disrespected. I asked about the manager and owner but they didn’t tell me about that,I hope that the management at Spot on Beauty takes these concerns seriously and ensures that this kind of behavior is addressed, so it doesn’t happen to other customers.
