Terrible service from 3 members of staff including the Manager of the branch! I phoned their customer service in December and asked the, if they would accept a cheque in US dollars to be put in my US dollar account that I have with them and they said yes, but I went into the branch on 8th January 2025 only to be told that they stopped this service in January 2024!!! This is totally unacceptable and all they could say is ‘sorry’!!! I spoke to the manager who did not seem to be concerned at all, so when I said I would make an official complaint, they offered me a gesture of goodwill of £25 but as their system was down, they promised it would be in my sterling account with them by the end of the day – but surprise surprise, it has not been put in my account and there is no record on file about this as I just spent £30 minutes on the phone to customer service! Disgraceful as I now will have to go on a bus and go to the branch to ask them why no one has bothered to do this!!!
