National Grid are currently carrying out essential work in Mary Neuner Road as part of our preparatory work for the PRS on our Clarendon Road site. In order to carry out this work safely, Mary Neuner Road is closed until early March. The road closure is already in place and we have special permission for these closures from London Borough of Haringey Council.
As part of this work we will be carrying out venting of the old pipework under the road. This venting work will take place from Monday 11 February to Friday 22 February, and at times during this venting you may hear the occasional loud noise. Our venting work can last for around 15 to 30 minutes at a time and will take place between site working hours (8am to 6pm). Please do not be alarmed, this is completely normal, and any noisy work will be short and take place within our working hours.
We’re doing everything we can to minimise disruption to our neighbours and we’re liaising with the council, local businesses and resident on a frequent basis.
We have placed signage in the immediate area about the road closure and this will be maintained on a daily basis, to ensure that it is visible to road users and the local community.
