About the Role
Stonecroft is a Haringey Council maintained Nursery that has recently been rated “Outstanding” for a second time by Ofsted. Stonecroft is an innovative nursery with friendly, hardworking and motivated staff who provide childcare and education for families in our diverse local community. Stonecroft has an exciting Reggio inspired environment for children to grow and reach their full potential.

We are looking for a highly creative, passionate, inspirational, and energetic Nursery Nurse to support the Early Years Officer in developing and motivating a high level of care, learning, play and education for children aged 2 years to rising 5 year olds.

We are excited to find a new team member to join our experienced team for the next exciting phase of our development. This will be a great opportunity for you to be part of our vision in being a beacon of outstanding childcare and education in the Local Authority.

About You
Any applicants will require a level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development or hold an equivalent qualification.

Have experience with working with young and be a confident key person with solid knowledge of child development, the EYFS, individual learning styles and how to support families through guidance, empathy and partnership working

Be an inspirational role model to children and other colleagues and students

To be an effective team player, being available to pause, support, reflect and enhance practice on the spot as well as through staff discussion opportunities

To have good literacy, ICT, communication and organisation skills

To have excellent skills in teamwork, using your initiative and being forward thinking.
