Are you an artist living or working in Haringey? If YES, then this could be the opportunity for you.
The pandemic led to an even greater increase in online shopping. In order to compete, the high street needs to become a place where people want to linger, shop, be entertained and meet friends. An improved and welcoming environment will help with this.
In collaboration with Bud Studio, Haringey Council are looking for local artists to RE(Imagine) Wood Green. The selected artists will design and deliver 3 new large-scale public artworks in Wood Green. The sites are the cycle stands at Turnpike Lane and Wood Green Underground stations, lighting columns along Lymington Avenue and artwork along Library alleyway.
If you are an artist or collective, over 16 and either work or live in Haringey, then Haringey Council want to hear from you. Visit the (RE)Imagine Wood Green webpage for information on how to apply. Submissions must be received by Sunday 30 January 2022.
