We have an exciting challenging vacancy for an experienced HR Operations Team Leader to join us on our transformation journey, managing our team, service and taking an active role in Haringey’s digital transformation

About the Role

We have a fantastic HR Operations team and need an enthusiastic, proactive, HR Operations Team Leader who will manage and transform our Service.

The service provides a professional, high quality, accurate customer focussed HR Support Service to all our customer groups. Ensuring the employee lifecycle administrative support service is fully compliant with regulatory, legislative, HMRC and local council requirements.

We are planning to replace our existing case management tool which will support us to improve our service delivery.

As part of this role, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Development and delivery of high-quality services
  • Team management.
  • HR Process transformation through utilisation of all HR Systems and process efficiency.
  • Developing Service Level Agreements.
  • Working alongside teams within HR and across the Council to transform service delivery and increase digital utilisation for the Council.

About You

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Team Leader who enjoys a challenge and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

You should be a great team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, who enjoys developing teams/team members and wants to join a fantastic, friendly, fun team.

In addition, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Expert HR Shared Services experience
  • Expert up to date HR Knowledge including UK Regulatory, legislative
  • Experience in Local Government with expert knowledge of local council requirements (ideally).
  • Experience of using SAP (ideal)
  • Management experience.
  • CIPD qualification and membership
  • Experience in HR process transformation and optimisation
