About the Role

Haringey Council is committed to ensuring young people can get the best education possible regardless of their background. In trying to achieve this aim, the Council has launched the Fairer Education Fund that supports young people from low-income backgrounds access and thrive in higher education. 

The role will require a lot of independent thinking as well as partnership and collaborative working, with the candidate expected to be the driving force behind the Fairer Education Fund. You will work directly with the young people on the programme; internal Council colleagues to improve, advertise, and oversee the delivery; and partner organisations such as the NHS and higher education institutions to help expand the reach of the Fairer Education Fund.

About You

We need a passionate, committed, self-motivated person with some experience or knowledge of accessing higher education, widening participation, and/or educational inequalities. You will be an ambitious individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people in Haringey.
