An e-Bike weekender is coming to Alexandra Palace this summer!
If you’re looking to upgrade your bike to an electric version or you’ve thought about getting an eBike, but are a bit overwhelmed by all the options, then the eBike Demo Weekender might just be the answer. With tarmac and off-road tracks located in beautiful parkland, you can come along and try out a selection of bikes of all types and chat to the brands about which bike is best for you.
Brands attending include: Ridgeback, Saracen, Specialized, Cannondale, GT, Gazelle, Wisper, Tern, Forme, Electrify, Talio, ARCC, Angell.bike, with many more to be announced.

ABOUT EBIKE DEMO WEEKEND
Fifteen of the leading brands including Ridgeback, Saracen, Specialized, Cannondale, GT, Gazelle, Wisper, Tern, Forme, Electrify, Talio, ARCC & Angell.bike will come together at Alexandra Palace, London to offer you the chance to try out 75+ models and experience the benefits of riding an eBike.
You’ll find a selection of eBikes from traditional town bikes that are ideal for leisure rides with friends and family, through to sporty folding options for anyone looking to take the sweat of out of commuting by bike. For off-road riders there’ll be a selection of MTB and gravel bikes and a trail through the woodland to try them out on.
- Demo sessions are free for the public, but riders are asked to register online before the day.
- Riders can guarantee their ride and time slot for just £5, meaning that you can secure your ride time and entry
- Each session lasts 40 minutes so the you get a chance to properly try a selection of bikes across two tracks (tarmac and a woodland trail)
- You can ride as many times as you like during each session, but bikes will be subject to availability due to re-charging and not all models will be available in every size. Helmets will be available to borrow on the day, but we do recommend you bring your own one.
Alexandra Palace offers great terrain to test-ride bikes with those famous inclines to ride up and give you a proper sense of the benefits of the various drive systems available.
The eBike Demo Village is located within the parkland of Alexandra Palace. The entrance to the Demo Village is off South Terrace, follow directions to the Ice Rink. Turn at the roundabout off South Terrace into the Ice Rink car park. The pavilion car park is then located via a right-hand turn which will be clearly marked as the entrance to the Drive In. Look out for our staff who will be checking tickets and guiding you towards our parking marshals.
The track area is fenced off so only cyclists are allowed and the numbers on the demo tracks will be limited for each session.
There is parking available on-site at only £3 for a whole a day and there are plenty of places in the park to have a drink and bite to eat. Ally Pally is also a great picnic location so once you’ve finished riding you can make a day of it and enjoy the park and those amazing views of London.
