Are you interested in learning about food, culture, and the experiences of people of diaspora?

About this Event

Tune into our Diaspora Kitchen Sessions, listen to the stories of phenomenal people and learn to cook food for the soul!

Following the success of previous 6 ‘Diaspora Kitchen Sessions’ We have decided to bring you 3 more sessions. These cooking demonstration sessions will be led by 3 fantastic foodies.

You will learn how to cook 3 exciting recipes originating from Kashmir, Sudan & St Vincent. The sessions are interactive, so you will have the opportunity to ask the cooks any questions you have. Whilst cooking, the cooks will engage in an intergenerational conversation in which they will explore their cultures and share their journeys into the kitchen, the stories behind their dishes, and their experiences as people of diaspora.

Each session will celebrate the diversity of culture within Diaspora communities.

The recipes will be shared prior to the sessions, so you can cook with the chefs from the comfort of your own home or alternatively put your feet up and enjoy the session with a cup of tea!
