Come along and learn how to gel print. This simple printmaking process uses acrylic paints and a ‘gel’ plate – a soft rectangle which is animal cruelty free. This means that unlike lino and etching, no printing press is necessary, and therefore it is something that can be carried on at home with very little expense.
I will teach all the basic techniques you need, for a fun 2 hour session of experimentation, to create a selection of prints which can be taken home and framed, or turned into beautiful handmade cards.
“I never knew it is so easy to do gel printing. Love love love the cards I made” Maria 19th June 2021
Please bring your own apron and wear clothes suitable for using paint.
The workshop takes place in Crafty Nolo, a pop-up shop on the ground floor of The Mall, Wood Green (opposite Tiger)
