The furlough scheme came to an end on 30 September. It can be hard finding a new job in a tough job market, but Haringey Adult Learning Service (HALS) – Haringey’s lifelong learning service for people aged 19 and over – is here to help.
If you have recently been made redundant, are unemployed or trying to skill up to get a better job, there are a number of courses that HALS have created to enable people to skill up, retrain and adapt to a changing job market.
HALS is also working with other council services including the employment service, Haringey Works, who are currently running drop-in sessions in many Haringey libraries. Haringey Works can help with CV creation, job search support, interview preparation, careers advice and guidance, apprenticeships, webinars and access to training courses.
You can view all available courses and enrol at the dedicated HALS website or contact the team via email at hals@haringey.gov.uk for more information.
