About the role

Connected Communities is a programme set up to improve access to council and voluntary services and support in Haringey to encourage residents to live their version of a good life.

The Key role and purpose is:

  • To ensure all operational aspects of Connected Communities runs effectively, with the outcomes aligned to the principles, aims and objectives of Connected Communities
  • To build, guide and support the multidisciplinary team, providing mentoring, line management and supervision
  • To develop trusting and effective working relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • To positively question, embrace learning and champion change
  • To demonstrate the values of Haringey Council and the Haringey Way of working in everything you do

You will work to ensure all operational aspects of Connected Communities runs smoothly and effectively whilst supporting a multidisciplinary team.

What do we do?

Connected Communities helps residents to access the right help at the right time. The programme builds a ‘wrapper of support’ around a family or individual to help residents live their version of ‘a good life.’ 

Connected Communities is part of an early intervention and prevention strategy, working to deliver outcomes for Haringey’s residents and prevent escalations into crisis.
